Chemical Mixing Operator - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Chemical Mixing Operator works in Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business unit, operating machines and production equipment safely according to instructions and batch tickets. The operator sets up or adjusts equipment to manufacturing specifications, monitors product quality, and maintains accurate daily production records. Daily cleaning of tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings, and other areas or equipment assigned by shift leads or supervisors is also expected. This is a first-shift role scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Complete relevant manufacturing training requirements.
- Complete the operations and safety training matrix and schedule.
- Be certified to operate PITs where applicable.
- Demonstrate a professional, team-player attitude toward work and co-workers.
- Be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Operate machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions.
- Follow batch tickets.
- Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
- Monitor output quality and identify products that are faulty and need to be discarded or remanufactured.
- Maintain accurate daily production records so manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
- Clean tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings, and other areas or equipment assigned by shift leads or supervisors.
