Chemical Mixing Operator - 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Chemical Mixing Operator works in Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business unit, producing adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. The operator safely operates production machinery, follows batch tickets, sets up or adjusts equipment to manufacturing specifications, monitors product quality, and maintains production records. Daily cleaning of tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings, and other assigned areas or equipment is also expected. This is a third-shift role scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a $2.00 shift differential. The posted salary range is $25.00–$27.00, and new hires are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Completion of relevant manufacturing training requirements.
- Completion of the operations and safety training matrix and schedule.
- PIT operation certification where applicable.
- Professional, team-player attitude toward work and coworkers.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate machines and production equipment according to instructions.
- Follow batch tickets.
- Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
- Monitor output quality and identify products that are faulty and need to be discarded or remanufactured.
- Maintain accurate daily production records for analysis of manufacturing performance.
- Clean tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings, and other areas or equipment as assigned by the shift lead or supervisors.
