Chemical Mixing Operator - 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Chemical Mixing Operator operates machines and production equipment safely according to instructions and batch tickets. The role includes setting up or adjusting equipment to manufacturing specifications, monitoring output quality, and maintaining accurate daily production records. Daily cleaning is also expected, including tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings, and other areas or equipment assigned by shift leads or supervisors. The position is on the third shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a $2.00 shift differential. Henkel offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. The stated salary range is $25.00–$27.00.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Complete relevant manufacturing training requirements.
- Complete the operations and safety training matrix and schedule.
- Certification in operation of powered industrial trucks (PITs), where applicable.
- Demonstrate a professional, team-player attitude toward work and coworkers.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Operate machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions.
- Follow batch tickets.
- Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
- Monitor the quality of output and identify products that are faulty and should be discarded or remanufactured.
- Maintain accurate daily production records for analysis of manufacturing performance.
- Clean tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings, and other areas or equipment as assigned by shift leads or supervisors.
