A Day in the Life: Chef Are you a culinary leader who thrives on creating exceptional dining experiences while running a kitchen like a well-oiled machine? As a Chef at Trinity, you won’t just cook—you’ll own the entire culinary operation. From crafting innovative menus to leading daily meal service and company events across multiple locations, you’ll play a key role in shaping the Team Member experience through food. In this role, you’ll operate with a high level of autonomy, making decisions that impact everything from vendor partnerships and food costs to kitchen efficiency and service quality. Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional culinary experience, including leadership or ownership of kitchen operations
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen management practices
  • Experience developing menus that align with dietary needs, budgets, and preferences
  • Proven ability to manage purchasing, inventory, and vendor partnerships
  • Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment, including open-flame stoves and industrial ovens
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations; ServSafe certification required (or ability to obtain within two weeks of hire)
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in daily operations
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods (majority of the workday)
  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
