About The Position

These communities typically have fewer than 100 units and a central kitchen. The role calls for culinary expertise, leadership, and responsibility for food service quality and operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing food and beverage operations in smaller, stand-alone communities or similar settings.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and quality control.
• Demonstrated financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage community food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of sanitation, service, and food quality.
• Oversee daily kitchen activities, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen and dining staff to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with community leadership to align food and beverage services with resident needs and preferences.
• Monitor and improve operational efficiencies to enhance resident satisfaction and profitability.
