CHEF MANAGER - MEMPHIS, TN
About The Position
Eurest is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation in Memphis, Tennessee. The role is responsible for the operation’s success, including culinary management and food service activities. The position is part of Eurest, a business and industry dining company within Compass Group USA. The Chef Manager oversees inventory, ordering, and receiving; supports menu development and cost controls; and focuses on sourcing and using local food products. A passion for sustainability is valued. Knowledge of HACCP and food and catering trends is preferred, along with experience in exposition cooking. The position offers a salary of $60,000–$65,000 and is eligible for an employee referral bonus.
Requirements
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, a fine dining setting, or a restaurant.
- Knowledge of inventory and purchasing.
- Working knowledge of HACCP.
- Experience with exposition cooking.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
- ServSafe certification.
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, particularly quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- A passion for sustainability.
