About The Position

Urban Plates is seeking experienced Chefs / Executive Kitchen Managers for future openings in the greater Los Angeles market. Urban Plates is revolutionizing the way restaurants serve food by focusing on scratch-made dishes and utilizing state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and technology to optimize operations, drive food quality, production, consistency, and guest satisfaction. Requirements

  • Experienced Chef / Executive Kitchen Manager.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Meet minimum auto insurance requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Rational ovens, blast chillers, Kitchen Display System, and Date Code Genie.
  • Familiarity with CTuit, The Huddle (LMS), and Dayforce systems/processes/technology platforms.
  • Experience in a growing restaurant company.

Responsibilities

  • Train and develop culinary skills of team members.
  • Manage kitchen operations to optimize food quality, production, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in seasonal menu changes (3-4 times a year).
  • Drive food quality and consistency.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction.
