NOC Shift Charge Nurse at Cura of Sauk Centre
About The Position
Cura of Sauk Centre is seeking a Charge Nurse (LPN) for its overnight shift. The Charge Nurse provides essential nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and personalized healthcare. The role includes monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patient comfort, well-being, and health outcomes. The position offers 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule that includes every third weekend and holidays. Starting wage is $27.75 per hour, with a shift differential of $3 for evening shifts or $4 for NOC shifts; the stated hourly range is $27.75–$40 with shift differentials. A sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 is offered for full-time employees or $750 for part-time employees.
Requirements
- Hold a valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Complete an accredited nursing program.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Be able to work under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Be flexible to work 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, and holidays as part of the rotation.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Strong knowledge of nursing care practices, medication administration, and patient safety protocols is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering injections, and managing wound care.
- Assist with patient assessments and promptly report changes in patient status to Registered Nurses or physicians.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Document nursing care and patient information accurately and promptly.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
