About The Position

Springtown Park Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse who is committed to serving residents and growing professionally as part of a supportive clinical team. The role is based in Springtown, Texas, and works the graveyard shift from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The nurse works under the guidance of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with the Assistant Directors of Nursing and other clinical staff. Candidates may hold a current LPN/LVN or RN license.

Requirements

• Hold a current LPN/LVN or RN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Demonstrate a commitment to serving residents.
• Be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Confer with the Medical Director and attending physician regarding assigned residents.
• Consult with physicians concerning resident evaluations and assist the Director of Nursing with planning and developing nursing services for residents.
• Support team members in their career growth.
• Examine residents and their records and charts to distinguish normal from abnormal findings and recognize early signs of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems.
• Complete administrative duties for assigned residents, including medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.
