About The Position

The Character Attendant supports the Christmas at the Princess event by portraying one of its Signature Mascot Characters. The role involves performing in a full costume, entertaining guests, creating photo opportunities, and spreading holiday cheer to families and visitors. The position runs seasonally from November 2 through January 10 and requires availability for shifts starting at 4 p.m., at least three days per week, and on evenings, weekends, and holidays. When not in costume, the attendant assists costumed colleagues with navigation, guest photos, and guest interaction.

Requirements

• Previous acting and/or dancing experience.
• Availability for the seasonal dates of November 2 through January 10.
• Availability for shifts beginning at 4 p.m. and at least three days per week.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be highly responsible and reliable.
• Be comfortable working in a full head-and-body-covering costume.
• Ability to follow direction, improvise actions, and adhere to a character biography.

Responsibilities

• Dress in costume and portray a Christmas at the Princess character.
• Remain in character throughout the evening to create an engaging experience for event attendees.
• Perform nightly choreographed dance routines with other actors.
• When out of costume, assist costumed colleagues with navigation, guest photos, and guest interaction.
• Spread Christmas cheer and bring energy and enthusiasm to the event.
