About The Position

The Manager, Channel Marketing is a strategic and hands-on commercial marketing leader who partners closely with the Senior Director, Channel Marketing to translate channel, customer, and sales priorities into scalable programs. This role manages assigned strategic partner relationships and translates channel priorities into scalable sales tools, commercialization toolkits, campaigns, merchandising solutions, and customer-facing programs. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, project management, competitive insight, and graphic design skills, along with the flexibility to build systems in a developing function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in channel marketing, partner marketing, product marketing, or a related commercial marketing role.
  • Experience working with sales teams, distributors, dealers, eCommerce partners, resellers, retailers, or other indirect channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience translating business, customer, and sales needs into actionable marketing strategies and programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with sales representatives and distribution partners.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design and production, with the ability to create or develop professional marketing tools.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, stakeholders, deadlines, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Flexibility and comfort building processes, systems, and repeatable ways of working in a new or developing department.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in foodservice, hospitality, commercial products, manufacturing, distribution, durable goods, or another multi-channel business.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, InDesign or comparable design tools, including layout, typography, visual hierarchy, brand standards, and print or digital production.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience supporting product launches, go-to-market toolkits, merchandising, eCommerce content, competitive research, and market funds development.
  • Experience using sales, customer, product, eCommerce, or marketing data to prioritize work and evaluate results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of quarterly and annual channel marketing plans, customer and channel segmentation, partner programs, and scalable resources aligned to CFS Brands Business Goals.
  • Develop, refine execute, and measure Integrated Channel Programs.
  • Monitor market, customer, channel, and competitive trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Own day-to-day marketing relationships with assigned distributors, dealers, eCommerce partners, rep groups, and sales contacts.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to improve brand visibility, engagement, expand assortment, and grow partner business.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of distribution partner profiles, routes to market, stakeholder needs, competitors, competitive positioning, substitute products, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Through collaboration with Sales, Channel Marketing defines the customer, partner, sales, and business needs; establishes the project requirements and priorities; and coordinates execution with the appropriate marketing pillars. This role keeps the work aligned, timely, accurate, and useful for customers, partners, and sales teams.
  • Cross-Functional Customer Marketing Project Management – we’ve got to translate to the rest of marketing function (leading, translating, coordinating, project management, timelines, budgets, stakeholder management/informed, risk management, ensure assets are easily accessible.
  • Help to prioritize channel marketing activities based on business Impact, Customer Needs, Timing, based on available resources.
  • Lead collaboration with creative, Digital, Tradeshows and Events, and Marketing Operations to execute customer and partner strategies. Provide clear direction, audience insight, priorities, content requirements, timelines, and feedback.
  • Own the development, adoption, and ongoing improvement of channel and selling tools, including How to Sell sheets, FAQs, competitive comparisons, battlecards, objection handling tools, solution guides, cross-sell guides, buying guides, campaign-in-a-box programs, and end-user packages.
  • Create or direct the development of polished marketing tools, presentations, one-page sell sheets, digital assets, and merchandising materials using graphic design skills and tools.
  • Lead the channel commercialization perspective for product launches and develop channel components of go-to-market toolkits, including selling tools and merchandising guidance.
  • Establish success measures and evaluate program & tool effectiveness.
  • Build and improve practical workflows, templates, documentation, and asset libraries that make Channel Marketing work easier to manage, repeat, scale, and measure.
  • Track asset usage, partner engagement, campaign activity, sales feedback, marketing fund utilization, and other indicators to evaluate and improve program performance.
