About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Change Management Specialist to join our team in Buffalo, NY. This is a full-time contract position with a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week onsite. The role focuses on managing and improving IT Service Management and Change Management processes, with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow expertise. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient change implementation while maintaining robust governance and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- 8+ years of IT Service Management / Change Management experience.
- Strong ServiceNow Change Management expertise.
- Experience with CAB, Change Enablement, Change Calendar, and Change Governance.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, CI relationships, and ITSM processes.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, dashboards, workflows, and reporting.
- Strong ITIL knowledge; ITIL 4 Foundation required.
- Experience with Incident & Problem Management integration.
- Knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD change management and automation.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- Financial services/banking experience is preferred.
- ServiceNow CSA/CIS-ITSM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the IT Service Management / Change Management processes.
- Utilize ServiceNow for Change Management, including CAB, Change Enablement, Change Calendar, and Change Governance.
- Leverage ServiceNow Performance Analytics for dashboards, workflows, and reporting.
- Integrate Change Management with Incident & Problem Management.
- Apply ITIL 4 Foundation principles to daily operations.
- Manage CMDB, CSDM, CI relationships, and other ITSM processes.
- Implement DevOps/CI-CD change management and automation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong analytical, leadership, and management skills.
