About The Position

Dolan Auto Group is seeking a Certified Technician for its Dolan Mazda Kia location in Reno, Nevada. The technician performs automotive repairs and service according to store and factory standards, and diagnoses and resolves automotive problems swiftly and accurately. The role works with Service personnel and management to help ensure customer satisfaction. The position has been identified as affecting public safety under Nevada Assembly Bill 132; candidates offered employment must submit to pre-employment controlled-substance screening.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must submit to a pre-employment controlled-substance screening if offered employment.

Responsibilities

• Replace brake pads and rotors.
• Perform minor repairs, light-duty repairs, and heavy-duty repairs.
• Replace parts and perform tune-ups.
• Replace spark plugs and fluids, including transmission, brake, power steering, and rear differential fluid.
• Diagnose vehicle problems, including check-engine lights and operating noises.
• Perform engine diagnostics and repairs.
• Work with Service personnel and management to support customer satisfaction.
