About The Position

Kia of Frisco is seeking experienced Kia Certified Automotive Technicians to join its Service Team. The role offers Kia-specific diagnostic equipment and factory tools, ongoing training and certification development, career growth opportunities, and a supportive, team-focused environment. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available based on training and experience. The amount is determined by the technician’s training, certifications, and experience; 50% is paid on the first pay period after 60 days of employment and the remaining 50% on the first pay period after 120 days.

The technician diagnoses, maintains, and repairs Kia vehicles, including electrical, mechanical, and drivability issues. Work is completed to manufacturer standards using Kia diagnostic tools, service information, and repair procedures. The technician documents inspections and repairs accurately, maintains a clean and safe workspace, and focuses on efficient, high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. The role requires 3 or more years of automotive technician experience, Kia dealership experience, Kia manufacturer training and certifications, ASE certifications, a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and personal technician tools. Requirements

• At least 3 years of automotive technician experience.
• Kia dealership technician experience.
• Kia manufacturer training and certifications.
• Strong electrical, diagnostic, drivability, and mechanical skills.
• ASE certifications.
• Ability to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Personal technician tools.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
