About The Position

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of KIA vehicles, electrical systems, and diesel engine mechanisms.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools, repair equipment, and diesel engine diagnostic software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and relevant electronics.
• KIA certifications are required.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on customer service.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand vehicle issues and support accurate, efficient service delivery.
• Prepare and execute work plans based on vehicle assessments and diagnostics.
• Perform advanced diagnostic tests on KIA vehicles and interpret results to identify appropriate solutions.
• Inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts, to diagnose potential problems.
• Repair or replace vehicle components, including transmissions, brakes, and engines.
• Respond to emergencies and sudden breakdowns with field visits to provide immediate customer assistance.
• Test-drive repaired vehicles to verify that issues are resolved and performance standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks.
• Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles in accordance with company standards.

• Sign-on bonus of up to $7,000, based on experience and skill level; $2,500 is paid after 90 days and the remaining $4,500 after six months of employment.
