About The Position

DARCARS of Fairfax is hiring a Certified Technician / Mechanic. The role offers flat-rate pay of $30–$50+ per hour, based on experience, plus a seniority bonus that may exceed $8,500 per year. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekends; a four-day workweek may be discussed for highly skilled technicians.

The technician will work in a modern shop equipped with heating, air conditioning, and factory diagnostic equipment. The company offers a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, based on level and experience, and funded ongoing training, including ASE training, certification and recertification, and VSI training. Fully trained candidates may discuss mentoring other technicians under a salary-plus-commission compensation plan.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Own master set of tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong drive to flag high hours and fix repairs right the first time.
• Pass required background screening, including criminal background, consumer and motor vehicle records, and Social Security number verification.
