About The Position

The Sterile Processing Technician performs task-based sterile processing activities, including processing surgical instruments and preparing and delivering supplies for surgical and interventional procedures. The role works in collaboration with surgical partners to ensure accurate and complete instrumentation and supplies are available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in sterile processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.
• Use various software applications as part of sterile processing activities.
• Assemble and deliver surgical and interventional procedure case carts.
• Perform paring and replenishment of materials.
• Collaborate with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies.
