About The Position

Responsible for assisting with activities in the Sterile Processing Department. Duties include decontaminating, sterilizing, and distributing sterile items to the operating room and throughout the hospital. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to certified candidates; RUSH transfers and internal applicants are not eligible. Pay is determined by factors including education, job-related experience and skills, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. Offers may vary depending on individual circumstances. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification with IAHCSMM preferred.
• Knowledge of a case cart system.
• Ability to take call and work weekends.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tray systems.
• One year of experience in Sterile Processing preferred.

Nice To Haves

• IAHCSMM certification.
• One year of Sterile Processing experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
