About The Position
Under the direction of the central supply supervisor, the Certified Sterile Processing Tech cleans, inspects, and assembles equipment and supplies. The role provides units and departments with clean, sterile supplies; uses aseptic technique when preparing and handling sterile supplies; and maintains instrument trays and linen packs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday call rotations. The role is at Pottstown Hospital in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, part of Tower Health.
Requirements
- Complete and maintain all competencies and trainings required for the role.
- High school diploma or GED.
- IAHCSMM certification or CBSPD certification.
