About The Position

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based sterile processing activities, including processing surgical instrumentation and preparing and delivering supplies for surgical and interventional procedures. The role collaborates with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete instrumentation and needed supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification.

• One year of experience in sterile processing.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instrumentation.
• Use various software applications as part of sterile processing activities.
• Assemble and deliver surgical and interventional procedure case carts.
• Pair and replenish materials.
• Collaborate with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies.
