Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Home Health - Full Time
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services to patients receiving intermittent professional services in a home-based care setting. The assistant works in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care, and teaches patients, families, and other members of the health care team. The position requires state licensure, a graduate education from an approved school of clinical education, at least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant, CPR certification, dependable transportation, and the ability to safely drive in all types of weather. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of clinical education.
- Licensed in the state where currently practicing.
- At least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant.
- Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operating a mobile device.
- Valid state driver license.
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
- Ability to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Medicare home health or hospice experience.
- Experience as a licensed therapy assistant may be deferred with review and approval from the regional vice president or regional director.
