Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Home Health - Full Time
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide home-based therapy services to patients who require intermittent professional care. The assistant follows physician orders and the established plan of care, and teaches patients, family members, and other members of the health care team. The role requires state licensure, at least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant, basic technology skills, CPR certification, a valid driver license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation. Experience as a licensed therapy assistant may be deferred with approval from a regional vice president or regional director.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of clinical education.
- Licensed in the state where currently practicing.
- At least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant.
- Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
- Valid state driver license.
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
- Ability to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
