About The Position

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide home-based therapy services to patients requiring intermittent professional care. The assistant administers services in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care, and teaches patients, families, and other members of the health care team. The role requires state licensure, a graduate of an approved school of clinical education, at least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant, CPR certification, and the ability to travel safely to patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of clinical education.
• Licensed in the state where currently practicing.
• At least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant.
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Possess a valid state driver's license.
• Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Possess CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
• Experience as a licensed therapy assistant may be deferred with review and approval from the regional vice president or regional director.
