Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Home Health - Full Time
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services to patients receiving intermittent professional services in a home health setting. The assistant works in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care, and teaches patients, families, and other members of the health care team. The role requires state licensure, a minimum of one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant, basic technology skills including use of a mobile device, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of clinical education.
- Licensed in the state where currently practicing.
- At least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant.
- Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
- Possess a valid state driver license.
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
- Be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- Possess CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
- Experience as a licensed therapy assistant may be deferred with review and approval from the regional vice president or regional director.
Responsibilities
