About The Position
Encore Communities is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide Occupational Therapy services to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. The COTA provides treatment, assists with program planning and implementation, completes related documentation, and communicates while working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA monitors each guest’s response to intervention and consults with the Occupational Therapist when a modification may be required. New graduates with a COTA license are welcome.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Monitor guests’ responses to interventions and consult with the Occupational Therapist if modification is required.
