About The Position

CoxHealth Rehabilitation In Partnership with Select Medical is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Ozark, Missouri. The hospital provides care for individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. This is a per diem position paying $33 per hour. The role includes an extensive orientation program, and strong performance may lead to potential full-time opportunities. Part-time and per diem employees may qualify for 401(k) participation after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Certified BLS, or completion within the first 90 days of employment, as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and modify treatment during sessions as indicated, in collaboration with an Occupational Therapist.
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
