About The Position

White Oak of Columbia is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for its 7:00 AM–3:00 PM day shift in Columbia, South Carolina. Full-time and part-time positions are available; PRN positions are not available. Employees are required to work every other weekend. Base pay is $18.00–$21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts, resulting in weekend rates of $19.50–$22.50 per hour. CNAs provide hands-on resident care and help residents feel safe, comfortable, valued, and cared for. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, compassionate relationships, teamwork, and quality care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
Provide compassionate, hands-on care while promoting residents’ dignity and independence.
Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Work alongside nurses and fellow CNAs to deliver resident care.
Offer encouragement and positive interaction to residents.
