About The Position

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in a safe, home-like senior living environment. The role involves assisting residents with daily care, engaging them in conversation and activities, collaborating with the nursing team, and helping maintain clean, tidy, and safe resident rooms and work areas. This is a part-time position scheduled from 7 AM to 3 PM in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• Be in good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
• Engage residents through interaction and conversation, as well as programs and activities.
• Work with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and assist residents by maintaining resident rooms.
