About The Position

Meadowlake Estates in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and support residents in a long-term and rehabilitative care facility. The role works an 8-hour shift, assists the charge nurse, and provides service as part of a multidisciplinary team. The facility’s mission is to provide clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services that meet the wants, needs, and expectations of patients and residents.

Requirements

State certification as a nursing assistant.
Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
Highly developed observation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to residents in a manner that supports their safety and comfort and follows community policy.
Promote and support residents’ greatest possible degree of independence.
Advise the supervising charge nurse of residents’ status at the beginning and end of each shift.
Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to resident care plans.
Assist with implementation of care plans as directed and within established policies and procedures.
Observe and report on residents’ conditions and document observations as required.
Follow established policies and procedures for safe lifting and transferring of residents.
Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
