About The Position

Priority Life Care is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide respectful, compassionate care to residents in a senior-care setting. CNAs build personal connections with residents, support their comfort, dignity, and independence, and work courteously with coworkers while following applicable state and federal procedures and regulations. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with evening and night shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of previous long-term care experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current and valid CNA certification.

Responsibilities

Create connections with residents and help maintain their dignity and independence.
Assist with moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
Assist residents with daily physical and hygienic care needs.
Help residents prepare for activity and social programs.
Prepare residents for meals and record or report their food intake or acceptance.
Advise the supervising charge nurse of residents’ status and condition.
Observe and report physical or emotional changes.
Promote a safe and clean environment.
Ensure equipment is clean and functional, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
Assist families and other visitors as needed.
Comply with applicable state, federal, health-care, and safety standards.
