About The Position
Brookdale at Home is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide one-on-one, personalized, non-medical care and companionship to seniors. Most Brookdale at Home private-duty agency offices are located within a Brookdale Senior Living Community. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available, with same-day interviews offered. The role includes companionship, hands-on personal care, housekeeping and laundry, pet care, transportation to appointments and errands, and medication reminders. CNAs work with community management to support residents and provide status updates at the beginning and end of each shift. They also assist with dining, personal care, activities of daily living, vital-sign checks, and clinical procedures in accordance with community policy. Requirements
- Successfully complete a State CNA/STNA course.
- Maintain CNA/STNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one companionship to seniors.
- Provide non-medical hands-on care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and assistance with transfers.
- Perform housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide pet care.
- Transport clients to doctor’s appointments and other errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
- Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal care needs.
- Perform vital-sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming.
