About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact for customers and represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping identify customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. The position also works closely with branch teammates to support smooth daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the role as an entry point to retail banking and long-term career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 5620 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota 55429. The schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. The listed base pay range is $23.00–$28.50; pay may vary based on factors including prior performance, skills, experience, and work location, and employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to ensure timely resolution.
