About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant is specifically trained and competent to perform assigned personal-care functions for patients in their residence under the direction, instruction, and supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The role supports patient-centered care through routine checks and assistance with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Requirements
- CNA license certification prior to hiring.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current fingerprint clearance card.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of CNA/LNA experience is preferred.
- Recent experience in a Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Transitional Rehab setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests/patients during admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Check each guest/patient routinely to ensure personal-care needs are being met in accordance with their wishes and care plan.
- Review care plans daily to identify changes to the guest/patient’s daily care routine.
