About The Position

Avalon Village is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a weekend option schedule, including a power weekend and every-other-weekend option. The CNA helps foster a warm, supportive, homelike environment where residents’ well-being, dignity, respect, and individualized attention are prioritized. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living and providing companionship and reassurance. CNAs collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to support coordinated, comprehensive care and demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
• Have the stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
• Ability to work toward a common goal of excellent resident care.
• Interpersonal communication skills that support a respectful and positive work environment.
