CNA-MedSurg SW (Full-Time, Days)
About The Position
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant may provide patient care and perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. The CNA transports non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy. The role supports the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed, and collaborates with other patient care team members to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care. The position is full-time on day shifts, with 12-hour shifts, variable days off, and 72 hours per pay period. Compensation ranges from $23.09 to $29.56 per hour, based on applicable experience. Requirements
- Current certification with the California Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated technical competence, communication skills, and sensitivity toward hospitalized patients and their families.
- Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
