About The Position

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides patient care, performs selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual, and transports non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy. The CNA supports the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed, and collaborates with other patient-care team members to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

This is a full-time MedSurg position on the day shift, with 12-hour shifts, variable days off, and 72 hours per pay period. The compensation range is $23.09–$29.56; the rate of pay is based on applicable experience.

Requirements

• Current certification with the California Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrate technical competence, communication skills, and sensitivity for hospitalized patients and their families.
• Be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
