About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Wayne County's 192-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. This on-site W-2 hourly role offers shifts selected by the CNA, with no minimum hours. CNAs provide personal care, assist residents with meals and mobility, take and record vital signs, and report changes in residents' conditions to nurses. Licensed nurses are present on every shift. The hourly rate is $25.00 to $28.00, with nights and weekends paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Pay is weekly, and orientation is paid at the employee's rate. If the facility cancels a confirmed shift two hours or less before it begins, the CNA is paid for four hours. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC provides professional liability insurance for every shift. Open shifts are listed in the BRIDGE App, where CNAs select shifts and receive confirmation. The role also includes reimbursement for CPR renewal, support for continuing education and certifications, and up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward an LPN or RN program. A $500 referral bonus is available for referring a nurse or aide. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid for by CLFC. Program terms are provided in writing before acceptance.
