About The Position

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in a safe, home-like senior living environment. The role involves providing hands-on assistance with residents’ daily care needs, engaging them in conversation and activities, and coordinating with the nursing team. The position is full time, located in Bethel, Connecticut, with a stated 7 a.m.–3 p.m. schedule. Compensation is described as competitive.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• Good physical and emotional health and freedom from communicable diseases.
• Completion of pre-employment screening, including a background check, drug screening, and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
• Engage residents through interaction and conversation, and participate in programs and activities.
• Work with the nursing team to ensure residents’ care needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
• Assist residents by maintaining their rooms.
