About The Position

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for its Residential Services department in Bethel, Connecticut. The role supports senior residents with daily care needs and activities, works alongside the nursing team, and helps maintain a clean, safe environment. The posting specifies a 7 a.m.–3 p.m. schedule on weekends. Applicants must have current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration and be able to meet the role’s physical demands. Requirements

• Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• Good physical and emotional health and freedom from communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
• Engage residents through interaction and conversation, as well as programs and activities.
• Work with the nursing team to ensure residents’ care needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and assist residents by maintaining resident rooms.
