About The Position

Park Place Health and Wellness Center, an assisted living community in St. John, Indiana, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist and care for residents according to their needs. The CNA works closely with fellow staff members and helps residents with activities such as dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Other duties include medication reminders, making beds, responding to call lights, and documenting work. This is a full-time evening-shift position from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The employee must be able to work every other weekend. The stated pay range is $20.15–$22.70 per hour.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint-based criminal background check, and reference check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Work closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to residents according to their needs.
Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring.
Remind residents about medications.
Make beds.
Respond to call lights.
Document work.
