About The Position

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Residential Services department in Bethel, Connecticut. The role supports residents with daily care needs, encourages social interaction and participation in activities, and works alongside the nursing team to help ensure residents’ needs are met. Requirements

Hold current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration.
Have experience and passion working with seniors.
Be able to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
Be in good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.
Complete the employer’s pre-employment screening, including background check, drug screening, and reference checks.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
Engage residents through interaction and conversation, and through programs and activities.
Work with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
Assist residents by maintaining their rooms.
