About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides exceptional care and service to residents who need dedicated hands-on assistance. Requirements

• Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration.
• Experience and passion working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• Good physical and emotional health and freedom from communicable diseases.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background, drug, and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
• Engage residents through interaction and conversation, programs, and activities.
• Work with the nursing team to ensure residents’ care needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and assist residents with maintaining their rooms.
