About The Position

White Oak of Columbia is hiring full-time Certified Nursing Assistants for its overnight 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift in Columbia, South Carolina. CNAs help residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the night by providing personal care, assistance with daily living needs, and compassionate support. The base pay is $18.00–$21.00 per hour. Eligible overnight hours receive a shift differential of $1.00 per hour Monday through Friday and $3.50 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays, for advertised rates of $19.00–$22.00 per hour on weekdays and $21.50–$24.50 per hour on weekends. Employees must work every other weekend. The posting states that only full-time positions are available, with no part-time or PRN positions.

Requirements

Hold an active South Carolina CNA certification.
Be comfortable and dependable working overnight hours.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, toileting, and other daily living needs.
Help residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
Provide compassionate care that promotes residents’ dignity, comfort, and independence.
Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Work with nurses and fellow CNAs to provide resident care.
Offer reassurance, kindness, and a comforting presence throughout the night.
