Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!
About The Position
Continuum Hospice is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with the nursing team, the aide supports patients’ physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect, empathy, and professionalism. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a weekend rotation. Coverage area includes Woonsocket and Pascoag. The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and an average pay range of $22.00–$23.00 per hour; final compensation depends on relevant experience, qualifications, and position responsibilities and is confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Current, unencumbered CNA certificate in the state where working.
- At least one year of CNA experience in an acute-care or long-term-care setting.
- Current CPR certification if mandated by the state.
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Follow each patient’s plan of care to support comfort and well-being, and respond promptly to requests from patients and their families or caregivers.
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding and clothing, and shampooing.
- Provide exceptional customer service and work to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Share knowledge and guide and support families in caring for terminally ill loved ones.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patients’ homes and in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
