About The Position
The Columbia Presbyterian Community is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a warm, homelike environment. As part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC), the role contributes to the organization’s mission of enriching the lives of seniors and team members through Relationships, Teamwork, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship. This is a full-time, first-shift position with weekly pay and a progressive sign-on bonus for full-time CNAs. The CNA provides hands-on support with activities of daily living, follows each resident’s individualized care plan, monitors and reports changes in health, and helps maintain a clean, safe, DHEC-compliant living space. The role also involves working closely with nurses, families, and the care team while maintaining documentation and safety standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support with residents’ activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Follow individualized care plans for each resident.
- Create a warm, homelike environment.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and DHEC-compliant living space.
- Work closely with nurses, families, and the care team.
- Maintain documentation and safety standards.
