About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant for Wayne County’s 192-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The onsite role offers flexible, self-selected shifts, with no minimum hours; available shifts may be eight or twelve hours. Eight-hour shifts are 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, or 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, with a half-hour unpaid meal break. CNAs provide residents with personal care, meal assistance, mobility support, and monitoring, and report observations to licensed nurses. The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025, with licensed nurses on every shift. Compensation is $25.00–$28.00 per hour, with experience determining the rate and nights and weekends paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Pay is weekly, and orientation hours are paid at the employee’s rate. A confirmed shift canceled by the facility two hours or less before its start is paid for four hours; shifts canceled with more notice are removed from the schedule. The role includes reimbursement for CPR renewal, support for continuing education and certifications, and up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward an LPN or RN program. A $500 referral bonus is offered for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. CLFC arranges and pays for fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC provides professional liability insurance for every shift. Open shifts are posted through the BRIDGE App, where employees select shifts and receive confirmation. A Program Manager is available for scheduling and pay questions.
