About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a W-2 per diem Certified Nursing Assistant for Wayne County’s 192-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025 and has licensed nurses on every shift. The CNA provides personal care, assists with meals and mobility, records observations and vital signs, and reports changes in residents’ conditions to nurses. This role offers a self-selected schedule with no minimum hours. CNAs choose available shifts through the BRIDGE App, which provides shift confirmations and tracks license and certification expiration reminders. Shifts are typically eight paid hours, with a half-hour unpaid meal break, and are available on day, evening, and night schedules; twelve-hour shifts may also be available. Work may be scheduled any day of the week. Pay is $25.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience, with night and weekend shifts paid at the top of the range. Pay is weekly. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. A confirmed shift canceled by the facility two hours or less before its start is paid for four hours. Orientation is paid at the CNA’s rate. CLFC arranges and pays for fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and professional liability insurance applies on every shift. Additional offerings include reimbursement for CPR renewal, support for continuing education and certifications, and tuition assistance of up to $1,500 per year toward an LPN or RN program. A $500 referral bonus is offered for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Program terms are provided in writing before acceptance. A Program Manager is available to assist with scheduling and pay questions. The position is part of CLFC’s broader staffing roster for government healthcare clients.
