About The Position
Spring Arbor Cottages of Fredericksburg is hiring a part-time Resident Assistant / Caregiver (PCA/CNA) to support residents during evening or overnight routines. The role provides hands-on personal care and helps make residents’ days safe and comfortable. The listed starting pay is $17.58 per hour, with higher pay based on experience. CNA certification is welcome but is not required for all Resident Assistant/PCA positions. Allegro Living, LLC is the parent company of Allegro Management Company and Spring Arbor Management Company.
Requirements
- Take a dependable and compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Be comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
- Be able to complete required dementia training and background screening.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving, assisted living, or memory care experience is preferred.
- CNA certification is welcome but is not required for all Resident Assistant/PCA positions.
- Experience as a PCA, CNA, Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, or Caregiver is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, toileting, mobility, and other daily needs.
- Follow each resident’s care plan and document the care provided.
- Respond to residents’ needs throughout the shift.
- Communicate with teammates to keep care consistent.
