About The Position

Winthrop Health & Rehab is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a non-profit, mission-driven organization. CNAs build relationships with residents while helping meet their daily needs with dignity and respect. The role involves supporting residents’ activities of daily living, mobility, and comfort, and working with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver care. Day, evening, and night shifts are available. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Georgia, or eligibility to obtain it.
• A heart for service and a passion for caring for others.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and a commitment to excellence.

Nice To Haves

• Prior long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Partner with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
• Foster a positive, respectful atmosphere for residents, families, and team members.
