About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a per-diem role completing home health visits to clients throughout Lehigh County. The CNA is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care so clients can receive the medical care they need while remaining at home. The position requires CNA credentials, a car, and reliable transportation. BAYADA offers flexible scheduling, a 1:1 patient ratio, and a comprehensive benefits package. Base pay is $20.00–$28.00 per point, depending on qualifications and subject to negotiation. The role involves providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, household tasks, mobility, exercise, medication assistance, and basic vital-sign checks. BAYADA provides PPE, infection-prevention protocols, daily pre-screens, and close monitoring of the COVID-19 outbreak. Requirements

Have at least one year of work experience.
Be listed on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
Complete a criminal background check.
Meet all state requirements.
Be a CNA and have a car with access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living.
Perform light housekeeping and home management tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Assist with range-of-motion exercises.
Assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Assist with oral feeding and ambulation.
Check temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Provide medication assistance.
